C3 Motorcycle Wireless CarPlay & Android Auto

I received the unit about 2 weeks after I ordered it. It took 4 days to get from China to the UK but then the UK courier decided that it needed to go all around the country before getting to me. No fault of Aoocci so not reflected in the rating.

When I got the C3, everything was present and correct. To be perfectly honest I was a bit disappointed when I switched it on and connected to my phone because it just bloody worked! I was looking forward to messing about getting things set up the way I like but the damn thing just presented me with my favoured navigation program (Waze) and the audio came out of the head set speakers as it always has. The screen is bright and clear and the fitting kit is comprehensive.

No complaints at all. Very happy

I've had the C3 for a short time. It is installed on a Yamaha FZ1. My initial impressions:
• Screen: size is good, touch response is good, brightness could be improved. It is no brighter than my phone. Since it operates on a power supply, I expected a brighter screen.
• Mounting: I got the version with the plastic mount because I planned on fabbing up my own mount. The supplied mount is ok, could offer more flexibility in configuration. If you plan on using the supplied mount, spending more for the ball mount is probably a good idea.
• Connects to my phone with no problems and operates smoothly. No issues there.
• The power cable is really long. If you want to remove the unit from the bike when it's parked somewhere, the lack of a convenient separation point close to the unit or a cable that can be removed from the unit is a shortcoming. There is a tiny threaded connector on the cable a couple of feet from the unit but it doesn't to be any common standard connector so coming up with an alternative isn't really an option.
• There are videos on YouTube showing how to replace the AOOCCI startup screen with a custom one. I followed those instructions but had no success. The default screen no longer displays but neither does my custom screen. I'll be taking another try at this.
Overall I am happy with this unit.

Just as it promised

Received the Aoocci 3 after 12 days and delivered to the wrong address. I had to go find it, but that is another story
Once I had it, it was up and running in no time despite no instructions whatsoever. The key to secure the mount was very difficult to use as it only just went into the fitting and was constantly slipping. I have a full set of these security keys but none of them fit as the size of the fitting did not match any of mine
Once fit only took seconds to link to my phone and download the apps

this only took just over a week to arrive and came very well packaged - it took me ages to get into the package! Like Christmas. there were no instructions but it was very easy to put together and mount on the bike. Once plugged into the USB port it fired up quickly and gave very clear on-screen instructions on how to pair up with phone. I've only used it once and it seem fine - responds quickly, touch screen is sensitive (havent tried it with gloves on). I haven't tried it in sunlight yet but so far it's very easy to see and read everything on the screen - quite amazing as my eyesight is not what it was (obviously up to DVLA requirements ...
