GOOD PRODUCT

Although the waiting time of delivery was long, 2 weeks, once the product received was good. Nice touch and feel. Good product for bikers. 5" screen feels good to use and is convinient.

Aochi C3

Used on one ride worked perfectly. Mounted using self 3D printed bracket to bike. So did not use plastic bracket. Screen size similar to my phone, previously used for navigation. I am long sighted and can just read the small text ok (eg: tom tom speed) on the screen, does not effect using navigation for me, not sure if i can increase the size of text in settings, but would not be an issue for most. Install was easy, hard wired to bike accessory wire for gps which I never purchased. Starts and connects no problem. SIRI works well with Helmut mic in garage. Need to test with phone and music later, assume it will work very well, though I rarely ever do this riding so not important to me. Very happy with purchase.

Great but ........

Delighted overall, works well and definitely worth the cost. I did have a few challenges though. Firstly I bought with the plastic mount, it looked OK but there is no way I could get the unit aligned where I wanted it, in the end I adapted an old mount from something else and discarded the supplied one, obviously it might be different for you. Second thing to note is screen brightness, it is ok but in bright sunlight it's a struggle to see clearly, the visor thing does help a bit though. Finally my bike has a usbc socket, the leads supplied are usb a or 12v, a £5 adapter sorted it. Aside from that it works great, I use spotify and waze mostly through carplay on IOS and for the price of a decent phone mount it provides a cheap very useable alternative to risking an expensive phone getting damaged.

Impressed with quality

Not yet fitted, but I am impressed with the quality of the unit itself and the packaging.
Some instructions would have been nice, as some of us older riders need a little guidance with modern technology.

Simple but effective

Excellent budget solution to have Waze/GoogleMaps on a motorcycle. I actively didn’t want a dash cam, and have no interest in taking calls, messages or music when I’m riding (I’ll use a car for that); the C3 fits the bill. I’m using a power brick so the whole assembly can be easily transferred between my various bikes and/or thrown in my rucksack at stops/journeys-end. An internal battery would have been ‘neater’ but would push up the price point. I wanted something budget and simple for the few occasions when I need to rely on a SatNav in anger…this is it. The C3 is an excellent product , and I would recommend it for the reasons above. Why opt for a costly and dedicated SatNav when everyone has a smartphone with navigation apps. The C3 will do more than I require but IMHO is still great value as a SatNav solution

Solid and what I want.

An Android Auto device for the motorbike - that is simply genius. Easy to install, easy to operate, a touchscreen that is responsive even to bike gloves. The cabling though is to my disliking. Too long, fixed to the device, proprietary and no options for the aftermarket. If it breaks - and that is not unlikely given the very fiddly connector between primary cable and the USB/direct battery option - there is no replacement afaik. Which basically leads to preferably leaving the device on the bike. But then: the glueing of the touch panel doesn't seem to be 100%. I have had now two times some moisture settled on the inside. That leads to some issues with visibility of content, but disappears quickly when the sun shines on the device. I will see how this turns out in more humid times...
Would I buy it again? I will decide once it sustains some seasons.
Still, love it for what it is.
