I brought this unit to replace using my phone as a direct SatNav. When it rained, the screen would move around on its own due to rain drops running down the screen.
This unit basically has all the same functions...but also adds cameras and tyre pressure monitoring.
The unit itself is simple enough to install. I couldn't use the supplied brackets on the BMW's 12mm top bar (above the TFT). The ram mount is sized for handle bar mounting. I 3D printed a new mount (there are free downloads available online).
I also used the USB power lead as this saves trying to break into the harness. The USB on BMW's powers on/off with ignition.
The colour coded cable connectors make install simple. The hardest part is routing. However, once I chose a route, the whole job was done in an hour.
Camera quality is good and I like the ability to select recording lengths (1, 3 or 5 mins). I've not tried recording at night yet so can't comment on quality at night yet.
I found out the hard way that you can't use the tyre pressure monitor on the front wheel of an S1000XR. The monitor is quite bulky and when installed on the side facing valve it fouls on the brake caliper. I managed to mangle one in seconds :-(
Fortunately, you can turn the TPM alarm off otherwise you'll keep getting a low pressure warning pop up.
Pairing to the phone is quick and simple. Once done, the two re-pair really quickly at start up.
The screen response is quick and smooth and the display is clear and crisp.
Overall quality of the unit is impressive. It feels solid and well built.
The remote unit feels a little cheaper. It would have been better if the cable exited from the bottom instead of top face. Feels a little exposed. Time will tell how durable it is. The remote is quite useful with its short cuts between camera and apps displays.
Overall, I'm very impressed, especially at the price. It certainly feels a premium product and equally as good as others at three times the cost.
An excellent buy.
First of all there is no way of mounting on a BMW GS navigation mount bar (one of the most popular bikes) without cutting off the ball and then attaching to a AMPS bracket.
Also the device won't connect the KYCAM2 software (I use a Samsung phone). As of yet this issue is not resolved.
There were no instructions in the box. I found some on your website. Some were clear but there were some in which the wrong word had been used and I had to guess the real meaning.
I really want the dashboard shown in many YouTube videos showing the speed and tyre pressures and I can’t find it.
The tyre pressures shown are about 4 psi less than the real figures.
The speed indicator is a bit slow to react and is often inaccurate.
The installation was very easy but there’s lots of left over cable. I think it would be better if the cameras, power assembly and remote had shorter lengths of cable (50cms each?) and there were 3 or 4 lengths of extension of 1m each.
I haven’t been able to pair the unit with my Cardo Packtalk Bold but that doesn’t bother me.
I find it difficult to mirror my phone screen on the device and when I do very few of my apps appear. Again, that doesn’t bother me.
Apart from the lack of the dashboard, none of the above is not very important to me. I am quite satisfied with my purchase and think it’s very good value for the price.

Good quality
The unit works great, very easy to install on the bike and easy to operate. The only thing that I would change is the mount. It would be good if it came with an optional mount straight onto your bars or navigation tower. Rather than having the unit hanging out so far from the bars.
The new model is much improved. Just wish they add some more flat mounts as a option, to mount and to replace our factory navigation on BMW R1250GS Adventure.
